Saturday, September 17th – Building Bridges, Not Barriers

Most Christians feel awkward sharing our faith. Whether we feel unprepared or fear rejection, it’s much easier to say nothing than speak up.  On Saturday, September 17th we’ll be hosting Pastor Mark Parsons from Speaking the Truth in Love ministries to help us better share Jesus with other people. With a special emphasis on reaching out to Mormons, Pastor Parsons will present practical instruction on becoming a relational rather than confrontational ambassador for Christ. The seminar will begin at 10:00 am and will conclude after lunch at 1:00 pm.

Join a Bible Study

Each week we offer online Bible classes on Wednesday afternoons and evenings. Currently we are studying the major characters of the Old Testament and how God used these people to bring about the coming of Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Click here for sample worksheets.

Help Feed the Homeless

Once a month we prepare dinner for 50 people at the Keauhou Shelter. If you can help us with food donations, preparation, serving or making conversation with the folks we serve, please let us know!

Old Testament Overview

Wednesday at 3:00 pm & 6:30 pm
In Psalm 23 we are reassured that even when we walk through the darkest valleys in life, our God is with us. That truth was very evident in the life of Joseph, an important character of the Old Testament. For a period of almost 20 years everything and everyone seemed against him and yet the adversity developed a spiritual maturity that continues to amaze. This Bible study will be offered at two different times each week. If you are interested in participating or would like to study on a different day, please contact Pastor Gumm.
